Biography

Born and raised in Chesapeake, VA, Coach O’s love for baseball began in the 5th grade while playing catcher and third base. In 8th grade he started on the JV baseball team as a starting centerfielder. By his sophomore year of high school at Indian River, Coach O was the starting centerfielder on the varsity team. In 2016, during his junior year, he was a Regional champ BA (320) FP (997). Coach O trained with Leland Clemons of the Kansas City Royals (Triple A affiliation) and the Upton Brothers training facility in Chesapeake, VA. In 2017, he committed to play college baseball at the College of Southern Maryland as a centerfielder. While playing college baseball he completed an internship at Riverdale Baptist as an outfield assistant Coach. Riverdale Baptist was ranked #1 in the country (2018).




In 2020, Coach O relocated to Atlanta, GA. He trained multiple athletes at D-Bat. After departing from D-Bat, he became a head coach with a collegiate summer league called Minority Baseball Prospects with guys like Drew Jones and Termarr Johnson who have played as well. While also in charge of player development and being a professional utility trainer Coach O has worked on all dynamics of the game.




In 2023, he became an umpire. Officiating games at Perfect Game and PBR tournaments and even GHSA games. In addition to training/coaching athletes and umpiring he is now the Outfield/Hitting Coach at Wheeler HS in Marietta and continues to pour his knowledge into the athletes of this great game.
